MJVBA minutes May 30, 2008 Devos Place

#1 Discussed AES as the recommended housing agent for the state Tournament.

  Discussed the need for a central booking agent.

#2- Discussed requiring all tournament host to have a web site in order to list event and changes – will go to vote of directors after labor day.

#3- Discussed allowing boys to play on girls teams in all events (at younger ages) except Grand Prix and State. David Vandermeer and Amber Wyatt will send proposal to go for vote after labor to club directors.

#4 New Club directors organization MVDA that will run a power league and some 2 day events thur MJVBA & AAU. There has been a need for a power league in Michigan and no person has stepped up to do this. MVDA will fill this need and not lay to task on one person.
