of Officers:
Lem
Schutt: Junior Olympic team took 4th place.
Mike Leholm named outstanding wrestler for the tournament.

Tomala: Website is running well.
Middle School National team qualification procedures did not result in
increased participation from MSWA wrestlers.
Will try this for one more year and re-evaluate.
Perhaps this is an event we no longer want to support.

Business:
Motion 1:
Motion made that age groups will be based upon the date that the wrestler
is on the day of the competition in question.
Wrestlers may be required to move up in division if birthday falls during
the season.
Vote:
Motion passes 8-2
Motion 2: Motion
made that MSWA adopt weigh-ins the night before competitions at satellite
locations, to be determined by the MSWA Executive Board.
Thos weighing in the night before will be required to pre-register and
pay at that time. All paperwork must
be turned into pairing first thing in the morning of the tournament.

Motion passes unanimously.
Motion 3:
Motion made that proceeds of MSWA Kickoff Tournament be allocated to MSWA
Middle School National Team to reduce cost of the trip.
Vote:
Motion passes unanimously.
Motion 4:
Motion made to adjust weight classes in Madison weigh in or blocked in
which wrestlers in a given age group will be ordered be weights and placed on up
to eight man charts, as determined by weight deviation of no more than a
percentage to be determined by the board (at or near 12%).
For weight classes with 6 or fewer participants, charts will be a round
robin format.

Motion passes unanimously.
Motion 5:
Motion made to change sanctioning procedures so that all event sanctions
will be done on a league play basis so as to reduce costs.
