AWARDS |
Regular Division: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals. Wall charts to 1st place. Rookie Division: There will be a Rookie Division for Tots, Bantam, Midget and Novice Divisions. A Rookie is a 1st year wrestler. They will wrestle a complete season in the "Rookie division". Rookie wrestlers will receive medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Wall chart to 1st place. There will also be a Rookie State Championships. |

AAU CARDS |
AAU Membership cards maybe purchased "online" at www.aausports.org Every wrestler [ athlete] and coach must have a 2009 AAU membership card. You must provide proof of age when purchasing an athletes card. COST: Youth $12.00 / $14.00...Adult $22.00/ $27.00 Non-athlete $14.00/$16.00. Higher priced card for youth, adult and non athlete are Added Benefit [AB] cards. Explanation when purchased. |

YOUR BIRTHDATE ON THE DAY OF EACH TOURNAMENT WILL DETERMINE YOUR DIVISION. |

IN ORDER TO GIVE OUR WRESTLERS MORE COMPETITION, WE WILL BE USING FULL ROUND ROBIN FOR LESS THAN 6 & fewer WRESTLERS IN A WEIGHT CLASS. BLOCK WEIGHTS WILL BE USED. |

THIS SEASON WE WILL ADOPT WEIGH-INS THE NIGHT BEFORE COMPETITION ( i.e. Saturday nights) AT SATELLITE LOCATIONS, TO BE DETERMINED BY THE MSWA EXECUTIVE BOARD. THOSE WEIGHING IN THE NIGHT BEFORE WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRE- REGISTER AND PAY AT THAT TIME. |

| In the Tot, Bantam, Midget and Novice Divisions- You MUST wrestle in two [2] tournaments before the M.S.W.A. Folkstyle State Championships in the Folkstyle Season. In the Tot, Bantam, Midget and Novice you MUST wrestle in two [2] tournaments before the M.S.W.A. Freestyle State Championships in the Freestyle season. |
| The AAU Wrestling Committee will not tolerate any form of verbal or physical abuse directed toward any athlete, volunteer of AAU official participation in an AAU sanctioned event. This applies to coaches, parents, spectators and athletes. The tournament committee will report any suspected or reported abuse to the proper authorities. |
| A Service Fee will be assessed to replace lost or misplaced AAU Membership cards. |
